Professor Moises Stevend Meza Rodriguez, MSc , from the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia (UPCH), presented the advancements in the use of Tiny Machine Learning (Tiny ML) in the biomedical field, focusing on real-time image analysis. This technology allows for fast and efficient data processing on low-power devices, expanding the possibilities for portable and accessible diagnostics.
Examples of applications that can support doctors in emergencies, telemedicine, and remote patient monitoring were shown. The goal is to demonstrate how the miniaturization of AI has a direct impact on public health and medical innovation.
