This presentation provided an overview of the new European regulatory framework for Artificial Intelligence, highlighting the principles of transparency, accountability, and risk management that must be addressed by operators developing or using this technology.
The obligations for providers and users will be analyzed, as well as the risk level classification. Finally, case studies were presented illustrating the application of these regulations in key sectors, exploring the challenges and opportunities presented by technological innovation in a regulated environment.

The international meeting was presented in the format of lecture and round table discussion promoting an international debate on the impact of Artificial Intelligence on the cybersecurity landscape. Experts from both countries discussed how AI is being used, both to strengthen defense systems and to enhance sophisticated cyberattacks, such as Phishing Automated and large-scale digital fraud.
The panel also addressed AI-based mitigation strategies, ethical and legal challenges, and the importance of international cooperation in building digital security policies. Participants were able to follow the debates on the different perspectives and experiences between Brazil and Spain in the face of the new challenges posed by the era of artificial intelligence in cyber threats.
In this roundtable discussion, experts from Brazil and Spain debated how Artificial Intelligence is being used in increasingly sophisticated digital fraud schemes, such as automated phishing, deepfakes, and machine learning-based attacks.
The panel highlighted the challenges cybersecurity faces in the face of the criminal use of AI and strategies for incident detection, prevention, and response. Emphasis was placed on the need for international cooperation, exchange of experiences, and the development of joint policies to mitigate the impacts of these emerging threats.
